Company formation: frequently asked questions
Mainland or Free Zone?
It depends on where you are based, whether you need access to government contracts, your headcount and the tax regime in your country of residence.
Do I need to come to the UAE?
Most of the registration is done remotely. In person is needed only for visa biometrics and bank verification.
Does the owner need a residence visa?
No, but without one access to some banks is limited.
What does the first-year budget include?
Licence, registration fees, legal address, Establishment Card, visa quotas and tax registrations — in one document, with no later add-ons.
